Book Discussion Group: Nurture Shock
All are invited to a community book discussion group - we will be reading the book Nurture Shock by Po Bronson and Ashley Merryman. This book is so full of great topics that we will discuss one chapter per session, every other Monday from 6:30-7:30, beginning on Monday, October 25. This group is open to anyone who would like to participate.
If there is a need, childcare will be provided for a $5 fee. Please email Laura Morris to let her know if you will be needing childcare so that we can coordinate it.
The first topic of discussion is: The Inverse Power of Praise…. Sure, he’s special. But new research suggests if you tell him that, you’ll ruin him. It’s a neurobiological fact.
